It’s that time of year again. The summer garden is giving us its final blooms.Autumn is in the air and North East Open studio’s is a few weeks away.
I have spent this last year getting on with day to day life and painting. Painting is such a joy in my life.To step into the studio, put my music on sit in front of a blank canvas and see where it takes me. To be totally immersed in a painting is such a gift. The joy of working away painting the tiny details too close to really know where it is going. The freedom of planning an abstract piece and watching where the paint takes you. Every aspect of the experience is deeply rewarding. The open studio is from 7th-15th.
